Andrew Byers, Attorney at Law
Andrew Byers' elder law practice focuses on the legal needs of older clients and their families, and works with a variety of legal tools and techniques to meet the goals and objectives of the older client. Under this holistic approach, we handle estate planning issues and counsel clients about planning for incapacity with alternative decision making documents. We also assist clients and their families in planning for possible long-term care needs, including nursing home care. Locating the appropriate type of care, coordinating private and public resources to finance the cost of care, and working to ensure the client's right to quality care are all part of our elder law practice.
Mr. Byers regularly speaks to the public on elder law, estate planning, and related topics, and also presents continuing education lectures to the elder medical community, certified public accountants, and financial advisors. Mr. Byers maintains the highest level of knowledge and expertise through ongoing continuing education and frequent attendance at nationally recognized conferences on estate planning topics.
